  So sorry to hear about Mike's passing.  He was a great guy who was fully engaged with life and living. He will be missed by many.  I am writing this from my place in Florida so I can't attend the services.  Devine Child is only a few blocks from my home in Dearborn and I certainly would have been there if at all possible.

So very sorry to hear about Ruth's passing.  The first house Gail and I lived in was directly across the street from the house Ruth grew up in.  Her brother Ted had purchased the house and raised his family in the very same home. It was on the same block where Kathy Sowders also grew up.  I played football with her brother Bill at Lowrey and I always sought out Ruth at the reunions to get updated about her and the rest of the family.  She was always such a kind and considerate person and I received the news of her death with a heavy heart.  It is good to see the many comments posted about this event which shows the strong sense of community that continues to survive after the passing of half a century of time since we were in those "hallowed halls". 

I am certain Ruth's spirit resides in the warmth and light of our all loving Father and his son Jesus Christ.
