In Memory

Donna Johnston

From Lolli (Louella Thompson Calcaterra)on February 13, 2017:   My best girlfriend, Donna Johnston, passed away two weeks ago. She was diagnosed with two types of cancer much too late for treatment. She passed peacefully at home. I was lucky enough to be able to spend some time with her before she left us. So sad, but glad she isn't suffering anymore.

It was so nice to read the comments you left about Donna.  She would be tickeled to know so many people took the time to remember her.  I will pass your kindness on to her sister, Liz.

Nearly everyone remembers her by her sense of humor and laughter.  That is a wonderful way to be remembered, isn't it?   And just for the record, that funny and sweet girl was still with her up until her passing.  I am blessed with nearly a whole lifetime of those good memories. I am going to miss the hell out of her but still very glad we had time to make a whole lot of good memories together.  Thanks to all of you for your soothing words.  xox  Lolli
