I am so sad to hear of John's passing.  When grew up together and he was best man at my wedding.  I am glad that we had the opportunity to see each other at our class reunions.  Peace my friend!

I grew up with John around Pardee Elementary. He was in my Mom's 6th grade class. I didn't see much of him after the college years except at some reunions. John was a strong and fun loving man. He is well remembered. May God give his family peace during this time.

John and I were best of friends through high school.  We double dated and spent much time together doing the usual high school hijinks, some of which is best left unsaid. John was a great athlete.  He played tight end on Lowrey's football team and was our top sprinter in track.  Voted captain, he earned three school records in the 100 yard dash, the 220, and ran anchor on our 880 relay.  He was a devoted brother and eldest son from a fine family.  Many great memories.  Good bye old friend.

John was a fine friend and part of a group of high school friends who did so many things together.  We all survived winters in his gas heated Corvair - what did Ralph Nader know?  If there was a person with a genuine and lasting smile it was John.  While all the high school friends would visit our home, and mom liked them all, she held out a special place for John.  He will live on in our hearts.
